Eid al-Adha Also known as "eid mubarak" in arabic and significance of Eid mubarak holiday
Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى , "in urdu its call bakra eid or eid ul bakar"), also called the "Sacrifice Feast" or "Bakr-Eid", is the 2nd of two Muslim vacations celebrated internationally every year, and considered the holier of the 2 said above. It honors the strength and patience of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, as an act of submission to God's command, earlier than God then intervened, through his angel Jibra'il (Gabriel) and informed him that his sacrifice has been accepted. Meat from the sacrificed animal is supposed to be divided into three components. The loved ones retains one 1/3 of the proportion; yet another 1/3 is given to relatives, pals and neighbors; and the rest 1/3 is given to the terrible and needy.
